Treatment
Endodontic treatment can be undertaken over one or more visits depending on the complexity and requirements of your tooth. In cases of established infection, two or more visits may be required to adequately resolve the infection and relieve symptoms. In cases of an acute emergency initial treatment may stabilise your teeth and further appointments will then be arranged to complete your care.
Teeth that have been previously root filled and have developed subsequent infection can often be retreated. Our endodontists will provide their expert opinion in case assessment and treatment planning so that you can make a treatment decision that you are most comfortable with. In some cases, extraction may be recommended.
We believe in empowering our patients with information so that they can make informed decisions. We also welcome patients to ask questions or raise any concerns they may have.
